Licensed Practical Nurse students (LPN/BSN) who have graduated from state approved, NLN accredited, practical nursing programs may enter as first-year students on either a full-time or part-time basis to seek a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Advanced placement may be obtained by transfer credit and through credit by examination in accordance with College Policy. It is recognized that the LPN/BSN student possesses certain requiste knowledge and skill, and opportunities are provided to validate prior learning. Efforts are made to facilitate the student's progression through the program in the most efficient, economical, effective, and equitable way. It is possible for the LPN/BSN student to complete the program in a minimum of six semesters pending timely and successful completion of credits by examination and required course work. |
